A woman is someone who is strong, independent and emotionally capable of much more. These universal facts have long been accepted but women are still victims of prejudices and much more in many parts of the world. Celebrating a woman’s day is a symbol of the fact that we all believe in equality and that men and women should and can be equal in all aspect. Women’s day is celebrated all over the world on 8th March and symbolizes what the whole world is fighting for. Women are capable of much more than is usually thought of them and basic human and other rights rightfully belong to them.
It is important that this day be celebrated with high hopes and enthusiasm all over the world. One of the reasons is that this day is all about the rights and empowerment of women and the more this day is celebrated, people will become aware. In many parts of the world, women are treated badly simply because they belong to the other gender. This must stop and the only way to do so is to make people understand that rights and empowerment belong equally to women as they to members of any other gender.
Women’s day is an internationally celebrated day as organizations like UN and similar organizations take active part in ensuring that this day is remembered and celebrated. Celebrities and other organizations also come together and speak about women empowerment, rights and other issues so that more people get to know about the state of women worldwide and what is to be done in order to ensure their betterment. It is also important for people from all genders to look at this day as a day of celebration as the condition of women worldwide is gradually, but surely improving and will continue to do so.
